We Can Do More

Over the past several months, employees have expressed a desire to help combat racial bias in our society and support the company's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in some way. In addition to other events, conversations and resources, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council designed the We Can Do More Challenge.

The Challenge - inspired by CEO John Marchioni's "We Must Do More" call to action - is intended to empower all employees to take individual action in building a more inclusive workplace through self-directed activities that promote advocacy, awareness, and education.

There are 22 different activities featured in the We Can Do More Challenge that relate to diversity, equity, inclusion, and unconscious bias. Whether it's discovering biases, learning more about an underrepresented group, or taking steps to become an ally, this challenge helps employees gain more knowledge and help build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture at Selective.

Real Employees, Real Feedback

We know the commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture is a daily, continuous process. The We Can Do More Challenge is just one of many ways we're empowering employees.
